President of the Constitution Association: Douglas V. Gibbs

Douglas V. Gibbs, "Mr. Constitution": Radio Host, Author, Public Speaker, and Instructor.  Founder & President of the Constitution Association, fellow of the American Freedom Alliance, a Sentinel for the Heritage Foundation, and has appeared on television and radio outlets.  Doug is an award winning blogger and free lance newspaper columnist whose articles appear in both print, and online. Doug is a family man, married to his high school sweetheart.  He is the father of two and has seven grandchildren. Doug is a proud United States Navy veteran.

Vietnam Veteran, Business owner, Carpentry, Computer programing, Computer management for a major paint company.
In Highschool I learned electronics and became a Amateur (Ham) Radio operator. I also had a TV repair business for
awhile (in the days of Vacuum tubes).  I Joined the US Army in late 1962 and served 3 overseas tours;  Korea, Vietnam,
and Germany.  I served as a Heavy Equipment operator in Korea and Germany, and in communications in Vietnam.
In 1983 I won the Heart of a Beautiful young lady and we have been married for 40 years.  In the early 80's I trained for,
and earned a Private Pilot license.  I also have a daughter and son (deceased), from a prior marriage of 12 years.
Also in the early 80's I and my new bride helped produce a newspaper called The Heartbeat for the church that we were
attending - that's where we met and were married.  A few years later I designed and produced
a Newsletter for another church, called The Trumpet, with the help of a small staff.
